At least he got his bike ride!


And a week after Kamakura, we went to Tochigi, but not to Nasu, a little further to Mashiko where there is another hotspring. Quite nice, better onsen then Kamakura, but not as nice a hotel.

Our daughter had problems late at night too, but because of fever. The hotel assigned us a driver and took us to a local clinic because it was the only one open. I can't remember what the doctor did, but our daughter was just fine after that.

Epinard Nasu sounds funny. Spinach eggplant if you use French and Japanese translations.


Joe, the kid has a way of getting what he wants.

David, the name sounds French and fancy, that's all that matters!
